Week 5

I've been sick most of this week with a cold and I was only here for half a day on Thursday so there is'nt much to talk about.

Term 4

This week is week five in term four, we have watched Wall.E for a movie review. I have been learning integers in maths and I am doing moving image poetry on YouTube.

My poem is called the twenty-first century and is about... that's right you guessed it, the twenty-first century, I chose that poem because the writer can express what they want the twenty-first century.

Term 2

This term there has been production, the battle of the bands, I was a fake fan of villainous (the bad band that wants every one to like them). I have finished all my work for this term and now the whole school has to do speeches. My aunt (Mrs Ringle) came over from America for a concert that she was the guest conductor in, I was playing the trumpet with my brother.

Term 2

This terms tech art is art for the year sevens and so far I have made a sandal and I'm about half way through a water art painting.
The other day when I looked at my shine card I saw that I'm about to get a shine band! yaay!
So not much has happened.

My Holiday

It's a bit late to keep on going with my camp posts so I am just going to start with what I did in the holidays. In the first week I was with my dad so not much happened, there was a salvation army talent show in which my brother played his cornet and my dad played his trumpet.

 In the second week of the holidays I was with my mum and we went camping in Thames (pronounced tems ), on the first day it was raining so we were in a converted caravan and a duck came inside. Ont he second day my mum, my brother and I took 2 hours to set up the tents! for the rest of the week we went around doing things like going to a mine and a mine school, we went to the movies and saw Cinderella and Frozen fever and we went to a butterfly house were believe it or not a butterfly decided to taste my hand. In between all of that we went to the beach.

The Friday I got home from camping my cast finally came of and my arm looked disgusting.

Tuesday on camp

On Tuesday I went to the Carter Observatory, there was a big screen on one of the two domed roofs, we watched a movie about the lunar xprize which is a space robot competition.  The next thing I did was meet Barbra Kruiger, a M.P in the Bee Hive , she had a talk with us about Parliament and then the class got a tour around the Bee Hive.  At the end of the day I went to the media room at Capital E and made a 3D video.

Monday on camp

On Monday I went to Zealandia, I saw heaps of things that you don't see every day, like Tuatara and Takahe.  Also I went to Te Papa, there was a lot of interesting things like a giant squid.  when we went to h2o extreme I wasn't allowed to swim because my arm is in a cast so I just walked around in the shallows.

Going to Camp

Hi, I am finally going to tell you about my week on camp.  On the first day, Sunday, we got on to the bus and started our 7 hour journey to Wellington.  Pretty much the I was listening to music.  We had 3 toilet stops.  When we eventually got their we had a small dinner and went to bed.

Week 6

The Japanese students arrived yesterday, my brother has a Japanese student, his name is Hayahide (pronounced hiya-he-day).

I'm reading a book called 'the book thief ', it's really interesting. It is about a girl whose mother can't afford to look after her and her brother, on the way to the kids foster home the boy sadly dies of starvation because they hadn't eaten in days. They have a cheap funeral and the girl stays behind, when the mother comes and gets her she notices a book in the snow. The grave digger had dropped it, that was the first book she stole...

Bad Timing

So to start off with I sprained my wrist then two days after I got the wrist brace of  I broke two bones in my wrist. Camp is in two weeks and i'm not allowed to go swimming, on camp I was going to go snorkeling.

Week 1 , Week 2 and Week 3

Salut folks in week 1 I got into band , I now play the Glockenspiel and Xylophone  . If  you don't know what those are they are sort of half drum and half half keyboard , one of them is wood and they other one is metal . In week 2 I went swimming every day with my friends . At the beginning of week 3 I got into exstention art .Also I fell of my bike and sprained my wrist very badly .
